Creator Guide

Astral Ascent offers a challenging, beautiful rogue-lite adventure to content creators. The game will challenge players to defeat the Zodiacs, 12 fierce warriors that will require a strategic approach to reach victory. Astral Ascent presents multiple ways to confront enemies in fast-paced, agile, and intense combats. Choose your unique character, and unfold powerful abilities by exploring the world.

Astral Ascent leaves Early Access on November 14th, 2023.  The 1.0 update adds three new Zodiac bosses to face, including a final boss with two challenging phases, and a main soundtrack theme by composer Dale North (River City Girls, Wizard of Legend), and singer Emi Evans (Nier). The launch will also include the complete soundtrack with orchestrated songs, and full voice-over in English.

Astral Ascent is suitable for all audiences and does not include any kind of content that might be banned or blocked by streaming or video platform providers. Streamers are allowed to play the game without any copyright restrictions or issues, as the soundtrack has been produced entirely for the game and does not include any licensed music.

Campaign Information

• Videos - Videos playing Astral Ascent, including walkthroughs, gameplays, reviews, and any other content related to the game such as “best of moments”, “reactions”.
• Guides - Content creators can elaborate videos showing tips and tricks to decode certain situations in the game, such as defeating enemies and bosses.

Astral Ascent is a 2D platformer rogue-lite game set in a modern fantasy world. As one of 4 Heroes with very different personalities, you must escape from the Garden, an astral prison guarded by 12 powerful and vicious bosses, the Zodiacs.

FIGHT YOUR WAY

Unlock dozens of unique spells for your 4 distinct characters. Optimize your own build or try out new ones to take down 12 powerful bosses. Get stronger with time to match up with your foes. Each run will test your skills and your reactivity.

DON'T GO ALONE

The weight of destiny is too heavy to carry by yourself? Don’t worry and bring a friend to play in our two-player co-op mode. Fight and crush your enemies together in local co-op or online using the Steam's Remote Play Together feature.

The Zodiacs are 12 experienced guardians dispatched over 4 gorgeous worlds. They’ll bring to the battlefield unique attacks, abilities, patterns, backstories to uncover, and reasons to be fighting you. Get yourself warned!

NARRATION THROUGH REPLAYABILITY

Astral Ascent is a rogue-lite infused with narration. Replayability is part of our story which will be unraveled piece by piece. As you get stronger, you will discover more about the characters, their motivations, and the secrets of the world they’re trapped in.
