TS Marketplace: London – Brighton Reigate Scenario Pack
About This Content
Delve into South London and Surrey in Train Simulator with SGL’s expansion of London to Brighton, which adds Reigate station to the route.
Opened in 1849, Reigate station branches off of the Brighton Main Line at Redhill, and acts as a terminus for Southern services from London Victoria, the station plays host to over 1 million passengers every year. GWR’s North Downs Line services also serve the station from Reading and onwards to Gatwick, and railtours regularly pass through the station on lunchtime circular trips in and out of London.
The station is bordered on its western end by its distinctive signal box, resplendent in classic Southern green adorning the name “Reigate” in the style of rail companies’ past. Constructed in 1929, this box replaced a much older one at the other end of the station, and remains in use to this day to control the level crossing gates and signalling in the area.
Under the control of Southern services, you will drive trains in and out of London Victoria, serving the various suburban towns, including Reigate, and even work trains out of Selhurst Depot. You can experience all this and more with SGL's London - Brighton Reigate Expansion.
