Dallas Love Field (DAL) is the 31st-busiest airport in the United States and busiest medium-hub airport despite its federally mandated cap of 20 gates. In 2018, Love Field surpassed 8 million enplaned passengers for the first time. The airport is the major operating base of Southwest Airlines.
Dallas Love Field has a single terminal with 20 gates, numbered 1-20. Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines lease one gate each, while Southwest leases the remaining eighteen gates.
