Train Sim World® 4: S-Bahn Vorarlberg: Lindau - Bludenz Route Add-On
Take the train to Austria! Spanning cross-border, the busy Vorarlberg S-Bahn line shuttles from quaint German island life to the foothills of the Austrian Alps. All-new and bustling ÖBB traffic awaits in Train Sim World 4.
Austria – a neighbouring country to both Germany and Switzerland, both already in Train Sim World, is known for many things but not least of all its stunning scenery, and of course its railway network. Nationally operated by ÖBB, or Austrian Federal Railways, passengers rank the service among some of the best within the EU, linking to the country’s neighbours and serving locals within.
Lakeshore and mountainous views abound as you uphold ÖBB’s service on their densely packed Vorarlberg S-Bahn. Operated by the ÖBB 4024 Talent EMU, previous generation predecessor to the Talent 2, the S1 line starts off on the island of Lindau, Germany, before promptly making its way back onto the mainland, and over the border into Austria’s westernmost state.
Enter an all-new experience and learn the intricacies of signalling and train operations in a new country, look out for different designs and practices and take pride in learning about European rail services.
Navigate your way north-south with a backdrop of the Alps on the horizon, and with many towns and villages en route, the line serves over thousands of residents with a frequent, reliable and naturally picturesque service.
Train Sim World 4 invites you to the postcard-like views of shimmering lakes and snow-capped peaks with its first foray into Austria, S-Bahn Vorarlberg!
